Description: The Awty International School has an immediate opening for a Boys Varsity Basketball Program Head. This is a part-time position, with the possibility of pairing with a full-time teaching role. The position is responsible for the overall vision, strategy and direction of the boys basketball program.

Reports To: Director of Athletics
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in a school environment or athletic related field.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Possess the ability to effectively motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Vision to grow and sustain the program.
- Proven coaching experience in high school or collegiate athletics.
Coaching and/or Athletic Administrative Duties:
- Provide overall leadership and direction of the boys basketball program.
- Organize and conduct practices, conditioning programs and competitive events.
- Instruct with sound principles and expert skills in specified sport.
- Recruit and manage coaching personnel.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement at the team and individual level.
- Manage, monitor and comply with all athletic department policies and procedures.
- Promote the total athletic program and contribute to the wider life of the school including attending parent meetings, student presentations and admissions events.
- Complete all related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
