The Peck School, an independent, coed K- 8 elementary school located in Morristown, NJ, seeks a full-time Technology Support Associate to start May 1, 2024. The ideal Technology Support Associate will display intellectual curiosity, independent initiative, and a willingness to take on new challenges. An undergraduate degree is preferred; however, experienced candidates with a solid technical background will be considered. A desire to work in an educational setting is essential. The Technology Support Associate will report to the Director of Technology, Innovation and Design, and be a member of a four person technology department.

Overview of Responsibilities:
- Assisting all members of the community with technology needs.
- Servicing Apple products (MacBooks, iPads, AppleTVs, etc).
- Troubleshooting and installing classroom and office technologies.
- Setting up and managing A/V for school assemblies/events.
- Troubleshooting and administering Mobile Device Management databases (JAMF).
- Administering the technology support ticketing system.
- Working with the technology team to test and troubleshoot new system rollouts.
- Technology Support for occasional signature events will require evening/flex hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Passion for technology with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to support the collaborative work of the technology team.
- Strong written and verbal correspondence skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite and web-based software and applications.
- Proficient in Mac ecosystem and basic network and A/V troubleshooting.
