Start Date: September 6, 2022
Position: Substitute Teacher (Multiple Positions), Full-time & Part-time available
Reports to: Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction
Level: Middle & High School
Compensation: $120/day ($20 per class coverage)
Responsibilities:
- Provide student supervision to ensure the health & safety of each student
- Enter student attendance
- Implement substitute teacher lesson plan(s) to ensure students are productive and engaged in learning during their teacher’s absence
- Implement school emergency procedures as necessary
- Serve as a role model for students
- Demonstrate sound professional judgment
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Prior experience with adolescents preferred
- Teacher certification preferred
