Serving approximately 190 students in pre-kindergarten through the eighth grade, Dutchess Day School is seeking an experienced, full-time Spanish teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.  The ideal candidate will lead foreign language instruction with enthusiasm and a passion for Hispanic culture, and teach primarily in the target language.  This position includes Spanish instruction in both the Lower (grades Pre-K - 4) and Upper (grades 5-8) Schools.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of elementary school students. A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is required and a master’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and is motivated to work collaboratively within a robust teaching team.
