The Makerspace Instructor/Coordinator position is primarily a teaching position focused on working with students and faculty in design thinking and problem-solving. A successful candidate will enjoy working with students and adults to develop curriculum, programming, and technical expertise in a newly constructed suite of makerspaces that includes a variety of tools and technologies: 3D modeling and printing, laser cutting/etching, CNC and traditional woodworking, welding and metal work, as well as robotics and electronics. The Makerspace Instructor/Coordinator will be responsible for teaching sections of a variety of courses, developing new courses, and maintaining/scheduling the use of makerspaces.
