Head-Royce School, a K-12 independent school serving approximately 900 students in Oakland, CA, is seeking candidates for the newly-formed position of Head of Lower and Middle Schools. This senior administrator will oversee, integrate, and advance the full K-8 program and experiences--curricular, extracurricular, and cultural. Together, these two divisions include74 faculty and staff and serve about 500 students. The Head of Lower and Middle Schools will report directly to the Head of School and serve as part of the senior leadership team, focusing on the success of the entire school while overseeing the progress and objectives of both divisions. A team of four administrators–a Lower School Director, a Middle School Director, and two K-8 academic and community leaders–will report to the Head of Lower and Middle Schools and be key partners in the work.
