Job Opening: Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach
Jewish Community High School located in San Francisco is seeking a Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach for the 2023-24 Winter basketball season. The season begins on November 6, 2023 and ends on February 9th, 2024. Practices/games are Mon-Thurs typically between the hours of 3:30-5:30pm. No practice or games on Fridays/Saturdays.
Experience/Qualifications
A strong candidate would be someone with experience coaching basketball at the high school and/or college level - any additional experience is welcome. Potential candidates must be able to teach the fundamentals of basketball as well as be able to work and challenge higher level players. In our everyday interactions, policies, practices and programs JCHS aspires to be an inclusive school that lives its commitment to equity, cultural competence and respect. Religious affiliation not required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all duties associated with planning, organizing, and supervising team practices and games
- Model good sportsmanship and maintain appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators
- Adhere to all CIF, NCS, and BAC rules and regulations
