John Bapst Memorial High School is an independent, college-preparatory school that cultivates academic excellence and personal growth, encourages exploration of opportunities, and fosters connections in an inclusive and global community. Founded in 1928, John Bapst serves 450 publicly and privately funded students from 35 towns in eastern Maine, as well as 50 international students from as many as a dozen countries, including China, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Italy, and Spain. As a member of NAIS, AISNE, and TABS, the school strives to model the best of independent school values and practices.
