Associate Director of Admissions
Position Overview
This position is for an experienced recruitment professional who wants to be part of a strong and motivated admissions team at Kents Hill with the common goal of meeting target enrollment and revenue on an annual basis. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, a competitive spirit and drive, strong relational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. This position reports to the Dean of Enrollment Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with assigned prospective students/families throughout the entire admissions process, from inquiry through enrollment
- Willingness and ability to travel 20-30 days a year (domestic and international)
- Cultivate and manage educational consultant and placement director relationships in a given geographic area
- Manage talent recruitment and enrollment; liaise with coaches, program directors, and the Director of Athletics
- Participate in and assist in the planning of Admissions events as directed, during the week and on select weekends
Knowledge and Skills required
- At least 3 years of previous Admissions experience
- Ability to work independently, plan proactively, manage a complex workload, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate in a proactive, responsive, and professional manner.
- Interest in working in a student-centered academic environment that requires flexibility and creativity.
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Other Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as a member of the residential weeknight and/or weekend duty team
