Education and Qualification Requirements

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• High proficiency with GiveCampus platform–setting up gift forms, campaigns, SmartAsks, and digital solicitations (text and email). 
• High proficiency in Raiser’s Edge, Google applications, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven record of fundraising success, securing 4-, 5-, and 6-figure gifts. 
• Experience managing a prospect portfolio of at least 50+ minor and major gift prospects
• Ability to travel domestically when appropriate on a regular basis
• Effective communicator with the ability to compellingly articulate Millbrook’s mission and authentic needs to donors and prospects 
• Ability to build strong relationships with teammates, campus partners, and the external community 
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a range of work styles, talents, and experiences  

Specific Requirements / Essential Function

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must have the ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when dealing with personnel, students, and family members.
• Must be proficient in the composition of written communication.

• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
• Must function independently. 
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc., without restrictions.
• Must be able to travel and attend school/community events on nights and weekends.
