The NMH Communications Office is looking for a motivated communications professional responsible for coordinating tasks and details necessary for supporting workflow across the Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC). Responsibilities include scheduling and trafficking all communications and marketing efforts, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule, and serving as a staff liaison with a variety of campus partners.
The successful applicant will have a bachelor’s degree or higher and at least three years of related experience, preferably in the communications or marketing field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Project management experience is required. Understanding the workings of an educational institution and a communications office is highly preferred. Candidates should have a strong understanding of budgets and finance management and possess a willingness to learn, adapt, and engage with new technologies and platforms. Proficiency with the Mac operating system, Google G Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) software, and Blackbaud and Basecamp experience preferred. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously, and discretion and professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. Additional qualifications include the ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as being a self-starter capable of working independently. Some weekend and evening work required.
