Title: Executive Assistant to the Head of School

Description: The Executive Assistant to the Head of School serves an integral role in furthering the mission of Oak Knoll and the mission of Holy Child Schools. The Executive Assistant to the Head of School works closely with the Head of School through the management of the school’s key initiatives and serving as liaison to the Board of Trustees. Meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
Project manager for key school-wide initiatives. The projects will be in support of the School’s strategic priorities under the direction of the Head of School and in partnership with other Administrative Team members.
Serves as liaison to the Board of Trustees, providing executive support and coordinating the various activities and work of the Board including the drafting of agendas, minutes, and other materials, maintaining all relevant materials for meetings, preparing reports, managing digital files and managing online portal.
Serves as liaison between Oak Knoll and the Society of the Holy Child and Network of Holy Child Schools as requested by the Head of School.
Serves as liaison and support person for the administrative team, arranging agendas and meetings, taking minutes at weekly meetings and retreat days, and ensuring follow up to agenda items for regular meetings and retreats.
Establishes, updates, and maintains Head’s calendar
Manages all-school calendar
Qualifications
- Understanding of and commitment to the Mission of Oak Knoll School and Goals and Criteria of Holy Child Education
- Bachelor's degree
- Highly skilled and fluent in latest technology pertinent to job duties including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Blackbaud
- Ability to acquire additional technology skills as needed
- Understands database systems, structures, and best practices
- Highly analytical with the ability to manipulate data with inherent attention to detail
- Possesses the ability to work independently as part of a small, close-knit team
- Keen ability to anticipate
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion
