We are seeking a K-8 Assistant Teacher to support our growing Kindergarten to Eighth Grade program. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and experience in a K-8 setting. Additionally, successful candidates will have excellent classroom management skills and a desire to collaborate closely with colleagues. These skills are essential for supporting the lower and middle school programs as an Assistant Teacher.

Candidates should have the flexibility to teach multiple ages, adapt to new surroundings quickly, experience with curriculum development, and an active interest in teaching with project-based and technology-based learning is preferred. 

Interest in outdoor education, place-based activities, and project-based learning

Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, the ability and desire to work collaboratively, and dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence in one’s teaching are also essential.
