Tabor Academy is seeking a dedicated English teacher to join our English Department. This position will be responsible for teaching 4 sections of English classes, likely 9th and 11th grades. Tabor English courses cultivate the language skills essential to leading vital, engaging lives in the 21st century. Our seminar-style classes prioritize student involvement and discussion, both of which are essential to developing critical thinkers and readers. Students develop and refine their writing process at every grade level, with emphasis on analytical, personal, and argumentative writing. In our English classes, students also refine their communication skills during student-led discussions and through presentations. As a residential school, Tabor considers the work of faculty broadly.
