Your day to day as a Early childhood spanish Immersion Teacher

As a Full-Time Early Childhood Spanish Immersion homeroom Teacher at The International School of Portland, your day-to-day expectations will be both engaging and rewarding! You'll begin your weekdays fostering an immersive learning environment where our younger students thrive in their language acquisition and cultural understanding of the the Primary Years Program and the IB, through play-based learning. Each day, you can anticipate planning and delivering interactive lessons that stimulate play based inquiry, and collaboration among young learners. You'll guide students through dynamic activities, encouraging them to inquire and reflect on their experiences while cultivating empathy and respect for diverse perspectives. Your schedule will typically include a vibrant mix of classroom instruction, collaborative planning with fellow educators, and engaging with parents to support student growth.

Additionally, you'll participate in occasional weekend workshops and ISP-sponsored cultural activities, enriching your teaching practice and connecting with the broader community. Embrace this exhilarating opportunity to inspire and educate!
