The Lab School of Washington, an independent school for children with learning differences, has an opening for a full-time middle school math teacher (primarily teaching pre-algebra) beginning in late August 2023. The candidate must hold certification in the content area of Special Education, be willing and able to pursue certification in the content area of Special Education, or be certification-eligible in the District of Columbia. Our ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, experience teaching students with specific learning differences, and be knowledgeable in teaching foundational math concepts through pre-algebra skills.
All faculty and staff employed by Lab must be fully vaccinated against covid-19 or submit an official medical exemption.
