The Meadows School is seeking a dynamic, creative, experienced kindergarten teacher for the 2023-24 school year. The Meadows School educates approximately 950 students per year in grades preK-12. The 40-acre campus houses over 240,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities. Since the first graduating class in 1991, 100% of Meadows graduates have been accepted into four-year colleges and universities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a homeroom teacher and teach and assess core academic subjects—language arts, math, social studies, art, SEL.

Differentiate the curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners, helping every child reach his/her potential.

Integrate technology throughout the curriculum.

Collaborate and work as a team with two other grade level teachers.

Communicate student progress with parents at parent teacher conferences, in student progress reports and report cards, and as needed.

Collaborate with the student support team for students who need academic or emotional support

Produce a yearly student citizenship program/performance.

Attend faculty meetings.

Attractively display student work.

Attend school professional development and seek out opportunities to remain current with pedagogy and best practices.
