The Summit, located in Springfield, MO, is a fully accredited, independent, non-profit, co-educational day school meeting the learning needs of students in Early Learners through High School. The Summit is characterized by its progressive, student-centered philosophy, academically challenging curriculum, personalized, “deeper learning” approach, motivated students, small class sizes, and talented, dedicated faculty.
Upper School faculty at The Summit provide instruction for a growing program consisting of approximately 60 students in grades 6-12. The ideal candidate will support and advance existing philosophy through project-based learning, differentiated instruction, and ongoing curriculum development.
The Summit offers a regionally competitive salary in a collaborative and engaging teaching community. This per-course position consists of one Calculus course for the 2025-2026 school year. Contract hours are Wednesday 10:15 am to 11:30 am and Thursday and Friday 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Initial one-year contract with the possibility to extend. Reporting date August 2025.
