Position Title: Development Operations Manager
Employment Term: Full-Time, In Office, 12-month employee
Direct Report: Associate HOS/CAO, working closely with Chief Financial Officer and the Head of School
Primary Duties are to provide high-level support to the Associate Head of School/CAO, CFO, and the Head of School in relation to advancement, board liaison, community relations, and accounts payables.
Advancement:
Database Management
Data entry of received gifts into database and communication of same to internal interested parties
Maintain Raisers Edge gift record filing system
Written and verbal communication with donors regarding gifts as needed
Participate in Donor Fund Statement review and mailing process
Assist with month-end and year-end close and reporting, and annual financial audit process
Campaign Support
Provide administrative support for Weber’s annual campaign and ongoing major gifts efforts.
Manage acknowledgment and appreciation to donors.
Manage the administrative details regarding events related to fundraising, alumni and community relations.
Create lists related to campaign solicitations and supporting volunteer solicitors in their efforts.
Coordinate, plan, and manage events related to donor appreciation and school faculty and staff.
Interface with Board leadership:
Serve as liaison on behalf of Associate HOS/CAO, CFO, and Head of School to Trustees, including scheduling meetings, organizing, attending, and recording minutes for board meetings; maintaining and updating board calendar and materials; handling administrative duties in relation to planning, organizing and sharing communications regarding meetings of the full Board and its Committees.

Educational and Other Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of prior relevant experience at the executive level.
• Extensive experience and proficiency with Raiser’s Edge Fundraising software, Quickbooks or other comparable Finance software, as well as a range of standard office applications (including all components of MS Office) and willingness to learn new systems as needed.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and organization skills, and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, open office while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems independently and creatively.
Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with a wide range of constituencies (students, faculty, staff, administrators, parents/guardians, alumni, investors, Trustees, and the Jewish and broader community).
• Ability to work outside of normal working hours, as needed.
• Discretion, diplomacy, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a good sense of humor.
• Familiarity with independent schools and/or educational administration preferred, but not required
