Position Description:

• Town School for Boys seeks a part-time Level 1 support technician to support the Technology Team during peak morning hours of operation from 7:30-10 AM. 
• The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and adapt to technical challenges quickly.

Duties and Responsibilities of the job include:

• Provide technical support to staff, faculty, and students
• Answer questions in person, via phone or email on all school-supported applications and hardware
• Troubleshoot issues and advise on appropriate action
• Document resolutions in ticketing system for future reference
• Maintain and troubleshoot Mac OSX, iOS, and Chrome devices and printers, and other peripherals
• Support administration and faculty with AV setup and troubleshooting
• Maintain inventory of department repairs and equipment loans
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Frequently lift up to 30 lb. of computer equipment.
• Crawl under or around furniture to adjust computer equipment.
• Climb ladders and reach to adjust computer wiring and perform other tasks.
