The Upper School at Webb School of Knoxville is seeking a parental leave replacement Spanish teacher, January 13, 2025-June 6, 2025. Candidates with prior teaching experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing the course curriculum, as designed and assigned by the Department Chair, and meeting the departmental objectives. This teacher will foster a positive, structured, and caring environment for all students as well as work collaboratively with the other members of the World Languages Department.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Spanish, language teaching, education, or a related field is required
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate Spanish lessons to students in the Spanish II and Spanish III courses.
Effectively use technology to enhance instruction and learning
Assess student performance and provide feedback that supports growth and development
Communicate effectively with students and parents
Collaborate with colleagues in grade-level team meetings as well as department meetings
