West Nottingham Academy (WNA) is the oldest boarding school in the United States with the newest ideas about educating students for their future. WNA is an independent co-ed high school serving both boarding and day students. It was founded in 1744 by the Presbyterian preacher Samuel Finley, who later became President of The College of New Jersey (now Princeton University). The 124-acre, tree-lined campus is located in Colora, Cecil County, Maryland near the Chesapeake Bay, an hour’s drive from either Philadelphia or Baltimore. West Nottingham is an inclusive community that provides a global perspective while promoting independent and innovative thinking. A new academic program was launched this year and is highlighted by our Center for Creative Exploration, our Artist-in-Residence program, STEM and Innovation Center, and so much more! West Nottingham Academy is an incredible place to work and live. Our school takes pride in and is committed to the diversity of our community as a whole, including those who work here. We support equal opportunity and encourage all to apply.
