The Agnes Irwin School is seeking a Development Office Manager & Events Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position's primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day operations of 672 Conestoga Road, assist in coordination of development/alumnae/parent events. Additionally, the Development Office Manager & Events Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Director of Development and other members of the Development team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as first point of contact for visitors and callers to the departments of Development, Business, and Marketing & Communications
- Work with the Director of Development to coordinate operations for the building including facilities, security, housekeeping, catering and outside vendors
- Maintain stationary and office supplies as well as cultivation/promotional item inventory
- Work with the Director of Annual Giving on solicitations and mailings
- Assist with donor acknowledgements, correspondence, assembling and collating packets of materials, mail merging letters, mailing and distributing outgoing correspondence
- Create and maintain alumnae/donor/constituent files
- Work closely with the Director of Alumnae Relations on alumnae initiatives by assisting with and coordinating alumnae events
- Work closely with the Director of Parent Relations on parent initiatives especially in assisting with and coordinating events such as Parent Council events
- Work with the school operations team to oversee the scheduling of events at 672 and specifically for Development:
- Coordinate meetings and events including: Production of meeting notices and event invitations, lists, program signage, name tags and other materials as needed
Successful candidates will possess:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined education and experience
- Must be multi-task oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well with coworkers, volunteers, and constituencies including alumnae, parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends of the School.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and experience with Raiser’s Edge database preferred
