The Director of Enrollment Management oversees all aspects of student and family recruitment, enrollment, and re-enrollment, ensuring the fulfillment of admissions goals. This role involves envisioning, planning, and executing strategies to grow and sustain student enrollment in alignment with the school's mission, addressing internal and external markets. The Director collaborates closely with other advancement office leaders to align interrelated initiatives with the school’s short- and long-term enrollment objectives. This full-time, 12-month administrative position reports directly to the President.

Effectively communicates the school’s vision, core values, educational philosophy, curriculum offerings, and mission to inspire commitment and ensure a smooth transition for new students and their families, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement.
Possesses a strong understanding of the school’s strengths and positioning, using this insight to guide parents toward the "right fit" school that best aligns with each family's educational needs and goals.
Promotes independent school education holistically to service a national need for educational choice and opportunity
Collects, analyzes, and uses enrollment data to inform decision-making and form the foundation of the school's enrollment management plan
Aligns the school's enrollment management plan with the school's advancement, marketing communications, development and constituent relations plan(s)
Utilizes the unique constituent relationship-building opportunity that the admission and enrollment management experience represents to cultivate a culture of annual giving
Demonstrates respect for competitor schools by delivering, in all cases, ethical, responsible, and accurate answers in response to the parent question: why your school

Gauges prospective parent interest in new curriculum/programming strands that best meet the academic needs of students - then conveys those observations/interactions back to the school's leadership to help drive the acquisition of new, innovative, and/or redesigned curriculum platforms to maximize student opportunity.

Works in partnership with the Director of Communications and Marketing to represent the school's mission in all marketing, advertising, and enrollment collateral materials
Maintains professional affiliations and participates in professional growth experiences to ensure that the office of admission and enrollment management employs at all times a "best practices" approach that is data-driven and accountable
Robustly seeks to maintain an ongoing understanding of the school's mission and educational philosophy, as well as the student experience, through regular engagement with members of the faculty, the Principal, the Dean of Student Life, the Dean of Academics and students and their families - to ensure that "we are who we say we are," and that we are delivering on the promises and commitments made during the admission experience.
Collaborates with other learning community stakeholders, i.e., the President, members of the advancement team, the operational leadership team, and the academic leadership team, to promote and achieve an "advancement model delivery" of all admissions, marketing communications, and development functions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Has bachelor's degree plus 5 years experience in private-independent school admission
Has working knowledge of achievement, aptitude, and diagnostic testing of students
Is proficient at communicating the school's story to various constituencies
