As Head of Upper School, You Will

• Lead with purpose: Oversee all aspects of the Upper School’s daily operations, from student life to academic programs to faculty development.

• Inspire innovation: Work with faculty to foster forward-thinking programs that prepare students for success in a rapidly changing world.
• Shape young minds: Support student success by creating an environment that balances academic excellence with social-emotional growth.

• Bring our mission to life: Ensure that every aspect of the Upper School aligns with The Walker School’s mission and strategic goals.

What You Bring to the Table

• A Master’s degree in education, school leadership, or a related field.
• Extensive teaching and leadership experience, preferably in an independent school setting.
• A deep commitment to diversity and belonging in education.
• High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills.
• A collaborative spirit with a knack for solving problems and thinking outside the box.
