The Admissions Associate, under the guidance and direction of the Director of Admission, will assist with all functions of the Admission Office, including but not limited to the overall promotion of the school and its mission, and the preparation and support for admission, retention and enrollment events throughout the year, demonstrating and maintaining applicant and family confidentiality throughout. This position reports to the Director of Admission and requires an outgoing personality with a strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Principle Responsibilities—specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist in the development and maintenance of the Admission Offices' marketing materials and communication plan
Assist in ongoing development and maintenance for processes of inquiry, application, and enrollment procedures
Assist with coordination and administration of applicant assessment and testing
Assist in the management and evaluation of applicant files and admission decisions
Assist with planning and implementation of all admissions events, for prospective students and families, including Lower and Middle School open houses, new family orientations, and student assessments.
Conduct campus tours under the guidance of the Director of Admission
Assist with database management; creating statistical reports concerning inquiry, application, and enrollment data
Additional duties as assigned or determined necessary by the Director of Admissions
Qualifications
High proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as Adobe suite or other video and photo editing tools
Database management experience
Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage time effectively
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
A developed sense of branding.
Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Advertising, and Facebook’s Ads Manager
Familiarity with an email marketing suite such as Constant Contact
Wordpress or other website content management platform
Experience with a school information system (Blackbaud, Educate or Ravenna a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design or a related field.
