Clubhouse Associate positions are compensated at an hourly rate based on experience: $17-$25/hour.
The Town School is seeking a person to be an active leader in our after-school program called Clubhouse. The person in this role will be part of a team of supervisors who facilitate programming such as art projects, story time, board games, outdoor recess, and snack between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. every day. The Clubhouse Associate will be a reliable part of the auxiliary team, enjoys and has experience working with primary-aged children, and is willing and able to support student safety and social emotional needs during their shift. Responsibilities: - Supervise Town Clubhouse students - Enforce Clubhouse processes and procedures - Support a safe and engaging environment of fun programming - Communicate any student conflicts or behavioral issues with the Director each day - Support admin paperwork associated with Clubhouse on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications - Experience as a teacher, camp counselor or general working with children aged 4 to 12. - At least 18 years of age - CPR & First Aid certification is preferred but not required. - An outstanding professional with characteristics of warmth, empathy, tact, discernment, superb communication and organization skills, high energy, and a good sense of humor
