Tenacre Country Day School is embarking on an exciting new chapter — creating a dedicated Director of Summer and Auxiliary Programs role to guide the growth and expansion of year-round offerings beyond the traditional school calendar. This is a rare opportunity for a creative, entrepreneurial, and operationally capable leader to design and steward a portfolio that includes summer programs, after-school and before-school programs, Saturday programs, and facility rentals.

Reporting directly to the Head of School, the Director will help shape Tenacre’s evolution into a vibrant, family-centered, year-round community. In doing so, they will also build deeper connections among students, families, and the broader Wellesley community, while generating mission-aligned, non-tuition revenue to support school priorities. For the right individual, this position is not simply a job — it is a chance to leave a lasting imprint on Tenacre’s culture, expand its footprint, and help realize a bold vision of year-round engagement, enrichment, and impact.

About Tenacre Country Day School

Tenacre School is a small, co-educational day school for children in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Six. Our mission is to "nurture and challenge each child, every day." Tenacre enrolls 194 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 6th Grade, and has a teaching staff of 35, including special subject teachers for science, Spanish, art, technology, library, music, P.E., and Spanish. Tenacre also has resource teachers for reading and math to maintain small group learning. Supporting the operation of the school are the academic, admission/enrollment, business, and development offices. Work Environment Tenacre has a warm, welcoming work environment.
