The Annual Giving & Donor Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in connecting with community members through compelling communications and mission-driven events, all in alignment with our inspiring mission. This position leads annual giving campaigns and special events, and assists with alumni engagement to foster a strong sense of community and inspire philanthropic support. This role is well-suited for a strategic and creative relationship-builder with a passion for storytelling, donor cultivation, and meaningful engagement.
This role is well-suited for a strategic and creative relationship-builder with a passion for inspirational storytelling, donor cultivation, and meaningful engagement. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a positive attitude who enjoys connecting with others, brings creativity and passion to fundraising, is highly organized, has an attention to detail, is an effective communicator, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven fundraising experience in annual giving/campaigns and appeals.
Ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies and analyze data to identify opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and create inspirational stories and content.
Demonstrated success in building and cultivating relationships with a diverse community of donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with donor management databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred) and Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Canva is a plus.
A proven professional who possesses a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality.
Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
