Sacramento Country Day School, the regional leader in Pre-K-12th grade independent school education since 1964, seeks a Learning Specialist for students in Grades 6 through 12. This is a part-time position of thirty hours a week from August 16, 2025, to December 19, 2025. The salary range is $13,500 - $23,750 for the four months, depending on education and years of experience.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementing intervention lessons with middle and high school students who need academic intervention 1:1 and in small groups
Attending and participating in Student Support Team meetings for Grades 6 through 12
Working closely with the learning support team to coordinate schedules and plans
Assisting with individualized Learning Profiles for students based on the interventions and accommodations outlined in their educational evaluations
Conducting classroom observations of students
Meeting with parents about their children's progress and suggestions on how to support academic growth at home
Collaborating with teachers on accommodation and learning supports

Requirements:
