Job Summary:
Lake Highland’s Facilities team seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the Facilities Property Manager in ensuring the effective operation of the department. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include managing calendars, assisting with budget and purchasing processes, and supporting project and vendor coordination. The role also ensures adherence to internal procedures and purchasing policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and a solid understanding of budgeting principles are essential. A background in managing multiple vendor relationships, tracking facilities-related expenditures, and supporting capital project documentation is preferred.
This is a full-time, fully-benefited, 12-month position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in Facilities, Operations, or Construction settings required; experience in a school or educational environment is a plus.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.
Current Notary Public commission preferred.
