Position:
Casady School is seeking an Assistant Choir Director for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates should have an abiding passion for creating a culture of belonging for every student in the performing arts program and in the larger school community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with teaching, leading sectionals, and administrative duties for middle and upper division choirs
• Attend concerts, contests, and other choir performances as needed
• Assist in the preparation of students for honor choir auditions, honor choir participation, and solo and ensemble contests
• Assist with Casady Musicals 
• Assist with Circle the State with Song 
• Chaperone school music trips including the International trip, ISAS Arts Festival, and the 7th/8th grade Dallas Trip
• Attend and lead hymns during Middle and/or Upper Division Chapel 
• Support Casady School with lunch, recess, and advisory duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Conducting, or equivalent
• Deep understanding of child development and best practices in music education
• Positive, proactive, and clear communication style with colleagues, students, and parents
