Position Summary: The Allen-Stevenson School is seeking an experienced 7th/8th Boys Lacrosse Coach to lead and support the development of student athletes within its 7-8 Athletics Program.

Salary: $5,000 per season. HR will review any eligible benefits upon offer. 

Qualifications:

• Prior successful coaching experience and knowledge of Lacrosse sport
• Knowledge of skill development
• Ability to motivate and teach student-athletes in a positive environment

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement training program to facilitate student-athletes reaching their full potential, including a full in-season Lacrosse schedule 

• Effectively communicate with students 

• Establish a competitive, inclusive, and values-based team that reflects Allen-Stevenson’s Mission

• Coach practices held both in the school gym as well as offsite
• Oversee safe transportation of students to offsite practices and games

Schedule:

• Onsite Weekday practices typically Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM depending on the team schedule
• Offsite games on Tuesdays and Thursdays- times vary

Education Requirements:

• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications, or the ability to obtain them before the season begins
• Bachelor’s degree preferred 

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to ride on a school bus for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform medium physical work, including lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Adaptability to outdoor elements such as rain etc.
