Kingsley Montessori School is a toddler through sixth grade independent school of 300 students in Boston’s historic Back Bay. Kingsley seeks applicants for an Auxiliary Programs Coordinator. This is a full-time, twelve-month position with full benefits. This role includes duties at the school’s reception desk (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM), and helping to manage the day-to-day logistics of the After School Program (2:00 - 6:00 PM).
The Auxiliary Programs Coordinator reports to the Director of Auxiliary Programs and works closely with the Director, Associate Director of Auxiliary Programs, and the After School Program Teachers to develop and run a safe, inclusive, and enriching after school program. Programs include Before School, After School, Vacation Care, Enrichments, Private Lessons, and Summer in the City. This is a high-touch position and interacts closely with faculty, parents, students, and external vendors.
Auxiliary Programs Responsibilities
Ensure accurate group records at all time, including tracking and managing daily attendance, providing daily attendance sheets to external vendors, and signing out all Auxiliary students to an approved adult
Maintain, update, and use a variety of software programs (including CampBrain) to register students, communicate with families, and manage schedules
Communicate with parents and teachers regarding daily schedule, including:
Program-wide communication about canceled classes, lessons and applicable make-up date notifications.
Individualized communication regarding After School registrations including discrepancies, changes in schedule, etc.
Support a smooth transition from School Day to Auxiliary Programs by overseeing students’ movement in and between buildings, communicating between teaching teams, and maintaining accurate schedules and lists for students and staff
Support After School teachers and provide supervision of After School students when needed
Reserve programmatic spaces for each trimester
Order materials for After School program and track expenses accordingly
Assist Director and Associate Director with other projects as needed (including benchmarking, reporting, Summer and Vacation Week planning, updating records, etc.)
Assist classroom teachers with duties as assigned by school administration
Help organize Vacation Care and Summer programs, including develop curriculum and organize local field trips for vacation weeks and summer programming
Reception
Greet all visitors and direct them accordingly
Answer phone, respond to and redirect emails and phone calls
Help maintain lobby appearance
Serve as vendor liaison during afternoon deliveries. Sort and distribute external and interoffice email.
Notify classroom teachers of changes to student schedules, late arrivals, etc.
Assist with lunch delivery and organization
Assist with school-day dismissal processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BSdegree preferred
Minimum of 1 year working experience with a customer service focus
Prior experience in education and/or working with children is preferred

Kingsley is committed to equitable compensation for all faculty. Faculty salaries are determined based on an experience-based step scale, ensuring fair pay for those with similar teaching experience. Salaries for this position range from $51,000 to $67,000.
