North Cross School, a secular day and boarding school serving students in JK3 through 12th grade, seeks an experienced English teacher for the 2026-27 school year who is capable of teaching a variety of classes that may include AP, Literature, and English courses. Our ideal candidate is student-centered and committed to making demanding subjects understandable and engaging for high school students while building their critical thinking, analytical, and creative skills. They are joyful problem-solvers, collegial and collaborative colleagues, and excellent communicators. A master teacher well-versed in pedagogy and with the ability to mentor other teachers. WHO YOU ARE:
• Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with teaching and/or tutoring experience, or be a master of their subject area.
• Ability to create engaging group/individual learning experiences.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles.
• A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
• Demonstrate strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
