POSITION SUMMARY
This position will work with small groups of German students (grades 7-12) who are staying in the USA with their families for two to five years. The goal is for these students to seamless reintegration into the German (mostly Bavarian) school system when they return to Germany. German language instruction follows the Bavarian curriculum for grammar schools.
This position will help redesign and strengthen our German Program for native speakers and will work closely with one other teacher.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education and Experience:
Professional experience and/or the state examination are desirable, but not mandatory.
First state examination for German as a native language at the Gymnasium (academic high school) level or first state examination for German as a native language at the Realschule (intermediate school) level.
Bachelors or Masters in German
