The Packer Collegiate Institute invites applicants interested in teaching middle school history.

Responsibilities:
This position entails teaching four sections of middle school U.S. History and advising a group of middle school students

Applicants should possess:
- Robust pedagogical content knowledge of U.S. History to build students’ historical thinking skills so that they may engage in inquiry, develop evidence-based arguments, and draw connections between past and present
- Enthusiasm for collaborative planning of curriculum with other members of a collegial department
- A commitment to anti-bias and anti-racism work and to promoting an inclusive, just, and equitable school community
- Experience with using technology in the history classroom
- A minimum of three to five years of experience teaching middle school history
- A Master's degree is preferred, though not required
