We are seeking a highly qualified math teacher to join our high school team, specifically in the areas of Algebra 1 and Geometry. Our high school teacher will support the school’s mission to educate children with learning differences to fulfill their potential. Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver instruction to classes of up to 12 students in the subject area assigned
• Differentiate instruction to remediate what students need to learn and push them to rigorous content understanding
• Integrate best practices by providing students with accommodations and modifications based on their learning needs
• Maintain and utilize accurate and up-to-date data regarding student achievement
• Empower students through high expectations, consistent routines, and strategies for success
• Contribute to the drafting of each student’s quarterly report outlining their academic and social progress
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with parents, students, and colleagues
• Work collaboratively with the other level and content teams

Certificate, Education, and License Requirements: 

• Holds valid and up-to-date teaching certificate in Arizona
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a preferred emphasis on special education 
• Previous teaching experience, preferably at a high school level

Compensation: 

• Based on experience in the range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year
