About the Position
Sage Ridge School seeks a visionary and collaborative leader to serve as its next Head of School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of success in independent school leadership. They will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing independent schools in the 21st century.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead with Vision: Articulate and implement a compelling vision for the future of Sage Ridge School, aligned with the school's mission and values.
· Champion Academic Excellence: Ensure the delivery of a high-quality academic program that challenges and inspires students.
· Foster a Thriving Community: Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive school environment where every student feels supported and valued.
· Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni, and the broader community.
· Ensure Operational Effectiveness: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring financial sustainability and effective resource management.
· Guide Strategic Growth: Lead the strategic planning process and ensure that the school is well-positioned for continued success.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in independent school leadership.
· Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence and student-centered learning.
· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
· A deep understanding of independent school culture and best practices.
