The Lycée is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Elementary English teacher for a leave coverage position beginning in January 2026. We are looking for a teacher who: 

• has an MA and/or has completed a graduate program in education (must be from an English-speaking university)
• has at least 2 years experience teaching (experience in grades 1-5 is prioritized)
• has training/background in English/ ELA
• is adaptable, flexible and willing to teach several different grades 
• is willing to teach students with different language proficiency levels (ELL, intermediate, and native proficiency)
• has strong writing and speaking skills
• believes in differentiation in the classroom
• is innovative and technology-savvy
• enjoys collaborating on curriculum and project-based learning
• has a commitment to equity, inclusion, diversity, and belonging

Knowledge of French a plus

Annual Salary Range: $73,576 – $123,417
