Are committed to early childhood education and inclusion
Have formal training in early childhood education with a BA in early childhood or related field. Consideration may be given to those who meet the minimumOSSE requirements for assistant teacher: You must have at least a completed and current CDA credential, OR a minimum of an AA in any discipline.
Have experience in play-based, emergent curriculum
Have a collaborative spirit and positive attitude
Resource teachers at NCRC provide support to and collaborate with the directing (lead) teachers in the classroom, and participate in all aspects of school life. They are also responsible for leading our afterschool program, Later Gators. Work hours will be between 7:30 - 12:30 pm, depending on classroom assignment. Part time teachers may also have the opportunity to add additional substituting hours, and may be eligible for full-time roles when those become available.
