Community School of Naples (CSN) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our Athletic Department. This role supports the health and wellness of student-athletes across all sports programs throughout the Middle and Upper School. The general responsibilities of the Athletic Trainer will include but will not be limited to, the domains set forth by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association which encompass the “prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions.”

In accordance with Florida state licensure, the Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to student-athletes under the direction of a supervising physician.

 CSN is one of the top independent, non-sectarian day schools in Florida and maintains a PK-12 school enrollment of over 1000 students. Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Kinesiology, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• NATABOC certification required; must maintain current CPR/AED and first aid certification.
• Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer in a high school or youth sports setting is highly desired.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to safety and wellness.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Physical Demands/ Ability to

• Lift/ carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Sit at a desk while working on the computer.
• Bend, twist, kneel, stoop, climb, crouch, balance on a regular basis.
• Withstand outside weather conditions.
• Detect and exchange accurate information.
• Have close visual acuity to perform essential functions of the job.
• Withstand a moderate noise level in the work environment.
