Upper School Math Teacher Full time Beginning August 20, 2025
Position: Upper School Math Teacher Reports to: Upper School Division Head and Math Department Chair FLSA: Exempt, full-time Salary Range: $67,500 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience
Responsibilities:
Courses include, but are not limited to Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry, Calculus, Upper level classes, including Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Multivariable Calculus. Additional responsibilities include:
Collaborate and plan with the Math faculty
Provide academic support for students outside of class time
Attend department and weekly faculty meetings
Support the students and division by covering study halls, lunch duties, and other assignments as needed
Requirements:
Master’s degree
2 years of previous teaching experience
Proficiency with current educational technology, especially blended learning platforms and as part of classroom instruction and for hybrid/distance learning.
Demonstrated interest in upper school education, and the ability to relate and communicate effectively and appropriately with adolescent girls.
Knowledge of, appreciation for, and demonstrated commitment to anti-racist, anti-bias education, multicultural teaching, and culturally responsive pedagogy
