The Blake School seeks to hire a dynamic full-time Latin Teacher for grades 9-12 capable of teaching all levels of Upper School Latin for the 2026-27 school year. This is a .75, benefits-eligible position. Applicant review will begin Dec. 15.
Essential Responsibilities:
Teach four sections of Latin at various levels of the Upper School curriculum
Advise a group of 10-12 students
Hold conferences with students and parents in fall and spring
Participate in departmental, divisional and all-school initiatives and meetings

Salary Range
This position has a starting salary of $56,000 - $85,900This salary range includes the expected annual salary for this position. Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in classical languages, linguistics or a related field with a strong preference for an advanced degree or work toward an advanced degree in a relevant field
Substantial professional experience in world language education with a preference for experience teaching at the Upper School (grade 9-12) levels
