Currey Ingram Academy is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Upper School STEM/Technology Teacher to join our innovative faculty for the 2025–2026 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about emerging technologies, thrives in a hands-on, student-centered environment, and is eager to shape the next generation of problem-solvers and creative thinkers.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing our STEM and technology programs by designing and delivering engaging, project-based instruction. Areas of focus include maker spaces, robotics, coding, and cross-disciplinary innovation. Our ideal candidate is both an expert in their field and a mentor who can connect with students, adapt to diverse learning styles, and create an inclusive, collaborative learning space.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead high-impact, hands-on STEM and technology courses.
Manage and develop innovative maker spaces and tech labs.
Integrate emerging technologies into the classroom experience.
Coach or mentor robotics teams and facilitate STEM-related clubs or events.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver interdisciplinary learning experiences.

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a STEM-related field.
Demonstrated experience teaching STEM or technology at the middle or high school level.
Background in managing maker spaces and incorporating tools such as robotics, 3D printing, and coding platforms.
Preferred experience supporting students with learning differences
A growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
