The Position
Greens Farms Academy seeks a Middle and Upper School Academic Coach Fellow for the 2026-2027 school year. This fellowship is a two-year position and offers relatively new teachers opportunities for mentorship and professional growth. The Academic Coach Fellow will work collaboratively with the Middle and Upper School Learning Specialists to implement support plans for students in grades 5 through 12. The Coach will meet with students one-on-one and in groups to develop their executive functioning skills, study skills, and effective learning strategies. The Coach will also proctor testing for students with separate settings and extended time testing accommodations. The coach will teach a middle school study skills class and liaise with the school’s writing and math centers to ensure cohesive support.

Location
Founded in 1925, GFA is situated on a former Vanderbilt estate in a scenic 44-acre waterfront campus located in Westport, CT. GFA is a suburban school close to many transportation options and a five-minute walk from the Greens Farms Metro-North train station. The campus sits a half-hour south of New Haven and an hour north of New York City by car or commuter train.
