Long-Term Substitute – Science/Biology – assignment date late September – November 2025

Sage Hill has an opening for a long-term Science substitute to teach five sections Biology. The assignment will be for approximately ten weeks starting in late September thru November. BA or BS in subject area required.  Independent school experience and a min. of 3 years of teaching experience preferred.

This is an exempt position that is not eligible for benefits.

Substitute annual salary range is $70,000 - $100,000 (Compensation Commensurate on years of experience)

• B.A. or B.S. degree in appropriate field, M.A. or M.S. preferred
• Experience in independent school environment preferred
• Excellent collegiality, professionalism and organizational ability
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with teenagers and their parents
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, use sound judgment, and work independently
