Oxford Academy is currently seeking to hire an English and language arts teacher to join our dedicated and innovative residential faculty. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized courses within a skills and competency based ELA framework. Additionally, they will reside in generous campus housing and become an integral part of a team of dorm parents, supporting and modeling positive community behavior.
Situated in a small, all-boys boarding school environment, Oxford Academy caters to grades 8 through PG. Our educational approach, known as the "Oxford Method," prioritizes individualized instruction and curriculum to effectively educate our diverse student body. This method is executed within a one-to-one classroom setting.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to have an innovative and creative approach to delivering a high school English and language arts curriculum. We strongly encourage individuals with experience working with teenagers in various capacities, including academic and non-academic settings such as athletics or camps, to apply.
