La Pietra – Hawai‘i School for Girls seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Alumnae & Global Engagement Liaison to support the school’s development, alumnae relations, and international engagement efforts. This full-time position is an integral member of the Advancement team, responsible for strengthening relationships with alumnae, stewarding donor engagement in collaboration with the Director of Institutional Advancement, managing constituent data, and serving as the liaison for La Pietra – Hawai‘i School for Girls’ global partner schools.

What you'll do
Alumnae & Community Engagement
Plan and execute alumnae programs, events, and communications that foster meaningful engagement and strengthen lifelong connections to La Pietra.
Maintain and grow relationships with alumnae across generations, coordinating reunions and other affinity-based gatherings.
Produce alumnae newsletters, social media content, and updates in coordination with the communications team.
Act as a key point of contact for the Alumnae Council and other volunteer leadership groups.
Advancement Support & Donor Stewardship
Support the Director of Institutional Advancement in identifying, cultivating, and stewarding donors.
Assist with the preparation of donor reports, acknowledgments, and gift tracking.
Participate in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, events, and special initiatives.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive donor information.
Data & Systems Management
Manage the school’s constituent relationship management (CRM) database with accuracy and efficiency.
Update and maintain records related to alumnae, donors, and community partners.
Generate reports, mailing lists, and analytics to support advancement and engagement goals.
Ensure data integrity and alignment with institutional priorities.
Global Partnerships Liaison
Serve as the primary contact for La Pietra – Hawai‘i School for Girls’ international partner schools and exchange programs.
Support planning and logistics for inbound and outbound student exchanges and visits.
Coordinate communication and relationship-building with global partners in collaboration with academic leadership.
Maintain documentation and ensure smooth coordination of global initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Prior experience in advancement, alumnae relations, event planning, or related fields preferred.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with CRM or donor database platforms (e.g., Blackbaud, Raiser’s Edge, or similar).
Passion for the mission of La Pietra – Hawai‘i School for Girls and a genuine interest in community-building and global education.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events or programs with reasonable notice.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
A collaborative, empathetic, and solutions-focused mindset.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered academic environment.
Familiarity with Hawai‘i’s culture and diversity, and an appreciation for single-gender education.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and student information systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Multilingual.
Experience in a similar position.
Experience in an all-girls independent school setting.
Physical, Mental, Tactile and other Requirements
Work is normally performed indoors in an office environment, although it may occasionally be outdoors.
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking.
Ability to safely use equipment necessary in this role, such as copier, scanner, projector, computer.
Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret documents.
Ability to operate a database to enter, update, and extract information and generate reports.
Ability to communicate effectively when speaking, via email and other tech-based forms of communication.
Ability to problem solve, make decisions, interpret data, communicate, plan.
Knowledge of and ability to apply conventional English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
