Nobles seeks a full-time, experienced math teacher to begin in late August 2026. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic department whose members are passionate about teaching math, working collaboratively, and developing positive student-teacher relationships. Full-time teachers at Nobles are expected to teach four courses and participate in two seasons of the Afternoon Program or the equivalent.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Teach four sections of upper school math courses (including advanced math electives)
Contribute to the life of the school in at least one non-academic area (e.g., athletics, community service, admission)
Attend faculty, department, and course team meetings
Commit to ongoing growth in classroom practice and curricular development
Attend all morning assemblies
Supervise one study hall per cycle
Complete two chaperone duties per year
Participate in one to two admission events per year
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in math or a related field is required
Minimum of three years experience teaching math in a rigorous academic environment, preferably at the secondary school level
Demonstrated interest in working with young people
Collaborative mindset with commitment to curricular alignment across shared courses
Dedication to continuous professional learning and growth
